Extreme Sports and the FKF Lamu branch join forces to launch youth tourney

Extreme Sports has teamed up with the FKF Lamu branch to launch a football extravaganza aimed at empowering the youth in the coastal region.

The tournament slated to kick off on May 4th and wrap up on May 18th, is part of Extreme Sports Super 8 Series at 20th anniversary celebrations.

Extreme Sports CEO Hussein Mohammed sees this initiative as a game-changer in steering youth away from drug abuse. 

"The tournament will help in tackling extremism and substance abuse among the youth in Lamu as well as encouraging community involvement," he stated.

He further noted that the tournament would focus on the transformative impact of sports in addressing critical social challenges.
