[PHOTOS] Gachagua hosts Somalia PM Abdi Barre in Karen

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has today, May 7, hosted Somalia Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre for bilateral talks.

The meeting was held at the DP's Official residence in Karen, Nairobi.

"Kenya and Somalia enjoy deep-rooted ties mutually beneficial to our great nations," the DP said.

The duo is expected to address the media later.

"As we restructure and align our architectural frameworks to buttress and enhance socio-economic development for the people of both Nations, we stand at a special moment of working together in peace and security in the region," the DP said.

"Kenya continues to grow and deepen her relations with other States, as one of the strategies of creating a resilient economy."
